Charles Atangana, paramount chief of the Ewondo and Bane of Cameroon. Photo from Fern der Heimat - Die Kämpfe in Kamerun 1914-16. The site gives no information as to the photograph's original pubication date or the name of the photographer. However, the photograph dates from Atangana's paramount chieftaincy during the German colonial period of Cameroon, a reign that lasted from c. 1911 to 1916. As such, this image is more than likely in the public domain.
