Gertrude Guggenheim

Gertrude Guggenheim was the daughter of Solomon R. Guggenheim.

She was sent by the family to England in the early 20th century.

Suffering from physical deformaties she was relatively isolated from the rest of the family, however well looked after.

She lived on an estate called "Windy Ridge" in southern England

Artist Felix Albrecht Harta was a prodigee of hers after his excile from Austria in 1939.
