The German Design Award (German: Deutscher Designpreis) is one of the council for styling (German: Rat für Formgebung) and the Federal Ministry of Economy and Technology donated honouring good design. The German Design Award has some specific features: thus enterprises can not apply for this directly, but are nominated by the Federal Ministry of economy and technology for this. Another specific feature of this honouring is, that it brings instead of prize money costs for the participants but with payments.
