Geri Jewell

Geri Jewell (born September 13, 1956) is an actor and comedian born with cerebral palsy.

She is most famous for her role as Cousin Geri on the television program The Facts of Life. She also plays Jewell, the cleaning woman, on HBO's Deadwood. Geri is currently working on an autobiography and developing a screenplay from it. In addition, she is currently working as an advisor to Don West and Mike Tenay for TNA Impact!

Today, Geri does motivational speaking to Fortune 500 companies as well as various government organizations to promote understanding of disabilities and diversity, incorporating her humor into her message. In 2006, she was the recipient of the Victory Award in Washington, D.C.

The television show MADtv aired a skit in 2006 spoofing Larry King's habit of making overly enthusiastic promotions of movies and television shows. In the skit, King complains, "If you could pick any girl from 'The Facts Of Life' to work in the whorehouse, why the Hell would you pick Jerri the mushmouth? Give me Blair, Jo, Tootie. Hell, even fat Natalie as a hooker. I'm there."
