Gerardo Gabriel Galindo Martínez (born on May 23, 1978), in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico is a talented left defensive midfielder currently playing for Club Necaxa in the Primera División de México. Gerardo debuted in a victory 1-0 over CF Atlante. El Jerry was a vital part in UNAM Pumas 2 championship's in a roll in 2004. Although debuting in 1997, it was in 2001 were he gained a starting spot in Pumas. Being a starter and a confiable player in Hugo Sanchez coaching career in Pumas, he has also been called to play with Mexico. He played the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup, where Mexico placing 4th, eliminated by Argentina, and many of the qualification games for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Although left out of the national squad in the world cup, he is still called to play now in Hugo Sanchez command and Mexico's coach.
