Gerard Batliner

Gerard Batliner (born December 9, 1928) is a former Head of Government (Regierungschef) of Liechtenstein (1962-1970) and attorney-at-law.
Batliner presided over the Liechtenstein parliament (1974-1978) and was a member of the European Commission on Human Rights (1983-1990).
He studied law at the University of Fribourg and received honorary degrees from the University of Basel and Innsbruck.
