Gerald Shove

Gerald Frank Shove (1887 - 1947) was a British economist.

He was educated at Uppingham School and King's College, Cambridge, where he also worked his entire career. He was an orthodox defender of Alfred Marshall against what he perceived as the theoretical assaults of John Maynard Keynes and Piero Sraffa.

He married Fredegond Maitland, daughter of historian Frederic William Maitland and his wife Florence Henrietta Fisher.
