Gerald Lind Sensabaugh, Jr. (born June 13, 1983 in Kingsport, Tennessee) is an American football player who currently plays safety for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
[edit] High School Years
Sensabaugh attended Dobyns-Bennett High School and was a star in football. Participated on two 5A Semifinal teams at Dobyns-Bennett.

He began his collegiate career at East Tennessee State University and finished as a senior at the University of North Carolina. He finished with four interceptions, five fumble recoveries, and three touchdowns. Sensabaugh tied an NCAA game-record after blocking three punts in one game. He was selected by the Jaguars in the fifth round (157th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft.

Sensabaugh immediatly stood out on the Jaguar team; one of few rookies who started every game his first season. He was a star amongst the special teams, and in the playoffs of his rookie year, he got a chance to start for the remainder of the season at strong safety after pro bowler Donovon Darius got hurt. In the 2006 season, he continued to shine on all special teams, and then halfway through the season, he yet again received a starting spot when Darius incurred a season ending knee injury.
