Jerome McKinley "Gerald" Henderson, Jr. (born December 9, 1987 in Caldwell, New Jersey) is a NCAA college basketball player currently attending Duke University.[1]

Henderson prepped at Episcopal Academy in Merion, Pennsylvania and is the son of former NBA player Gerald Henderson.[1] Gerald suffers from exercise-induced asthma.[2] He was not a starter during his freshman year, despite being one of the most highly recruited high school players in the country.

On March 4, 2007, Henderson struck North Carolina's Tyler Hansbrough in the face with his right elbow, breaking Hansbrough's nose.[4] The contact was assessed as a combative foul, ejecting Henderson from the game and forcing a suspension for one additional game.
