This is intended for medieval works of Germanic origin written in German and characters appearing in such works, notably the Nibelungenlied, the Kudrun, tales of Dietrich von Berne, and so forth. Entries will sometimes also be categoriezed as Norse mythology and sometimes also as "English heroic legend".
