[edit] A short Esperanzial update
As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.
As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.

[edit] Meetup
I am going to have to pass on tomorrows meet up, Events have ended up conflicting (at last minute), just a reminder that a agenda/ideas is here.
Let me know how it goes. Brian | (Talk) 03:02, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
It's been a while since I logged on, but I just got your invitation. Belated thanks! and sorry I couldn't make it. Best wishes, Petrouchka 03:39, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ripper (game)
Apparently the game is a vehicle for a host of celebrity people who appeared in it. I've added this fact to reflect that. I think this many celebs in one game warrants notability by association. Could you get back to my talk page and let me know what you think. Did you know about the cast when you prodded? - Mgm|(talk) 11:17, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Redirect
I noticed that you redirected Miracles on Maple Hill back to the author's page. I know it's barely a stub right now, but I created it (and several others) as part of a succession-box collaboration with Booyabazooka. I'll get back to it, and the others like it, very soon and add more detail.

[edit] crocodile and tiger
Hi,
I figured out you erased the crocdile sections in the Bengal tiger article. I have read a lot of documents and a few books which desribe the interaction between tiger and crocodile. One book, the vanishing tiger, says clearly that in the stomach of crocodiles, the recorded contents are leopards, deer and other animals, no tiger at all, and it also says crocodiles often dispute tiger's kill. Early this year, I watched a documentary film on Discovery channel about tiger, in which there is a scene where a tigress devoured a disputing, large crocodile. The observers just concluded one thing: sometimes a crocodile makes mistakes stealing the tiger's kill, and it proves fatal to the reptile. In my country, crocdiles and tigers coexist too, and the tiger sometimes kills the reptile when it's short of food. So I just added it to the articles, it's not something of personal opinion.
[edit] Weight training
Response I only removed several links because the article had numerous references to the same article it was just kinda overdone to me. I can see the importance of the article as it was not totally deleted just reduced in number. I would assume if someone went to the page one time why would you need the same link numerous times if it shows the same content. This is why it was reduced in number. I just did a count of the times www dot physsportsmed dot com/ is on the page 16 times You tell me when enough is enough and it doesn't turn into spam....Thanks..--Cleanupman 13:44, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
Note that there is a move to merge Strength training and Weight trianing. As a contributor to the pages, your input is solicited. Please see Talk:Strength Training. WLU 18:57, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
I've finished as much of the merger of weight training as possible, I'd love comments. Mostly what I did was take out the info that was duplicated in strength training and tried to highlight how weight training differs from the other types of strength training. Help! [edit] Too many pictures
- I have no problem with the model pictures.
There are just too many of them the page takes over 5 minutes to download on dialup this is not acceptable.
Please edit the pictures ok or I will ask an admin too. The page is just too large to download and useless to anybody using dialup. You did a great job just to many images ok.
Please edit as many as you can the size and speed of download can be checked here right now it is so big it can't be checked.
After deleting some please check the download time here ok. Thanks have a Blessed Day
