I started to create this article and ... got distracted because there was no Category for 'Chartists.' I apologize for not getting back to it sooner-- some of the other articles related to Chartists were also in need of some generic cleanup. --Matthew 18:22, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

I'm an enthusiast of Reynolds' work, but a novice to Wikipedia. I have added some relevant information to this article after reading the Wikipedia guidelines and FAQ, but if anything I have added is not correctly formatted or not appropriate, please let me know so that I may amend it and learn for the future. Carloine: you have done a great job here. As we add more information we will want headings, but right now everything looks really good.

We just need to gather orinal sources about his life, etc., and add citations. Unfortunately if you have tried to find information about GWMR you know it isn't easy to come by. I have seen various short biographical sketches which have no citations at all. I have not been able to find any that cite to sources (even though they all seem to agree on most things). I find it particularly humorous that depending on where you are reading, he inherits money from his mother or his father at someone's death (the sketches never agree on who from or which parent died) and there are conflicting amounts of money, too. From there the accounts and explanations of his life go downhill into total confusion-- nobody can agree about his purpose, his importance, or his style. Matthew 12:17, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
