[edit] A long illness?
I apologise for being a bit insensitive here, but I'm unaware of any long illness that George was suffering from; I have removed that sentence until someone can back it up a little bit. George was still in his office at UNSW several days a week as late as 2002 — remarkable for someone in his mid-90s. George and Esther moved to Adelaide in mid 2004; I had thought the reason was Esther's poor health rather than George's. Dmharvey

Shouldn't it be noted that George and Esther both died within hours of each other, as noted in Esther's page?
