[edit] George and the House of Commons
Does anyone know if George has spent one day at the House of Commons since appearing on Big Brother? We would have heard about it wouldn't we? ThePeg 29.7.2006
[edit] Relevance of this entry
This entry is part of the public persona of George Galloway and as such should not be deleted.
- I think this was split from George Galloway because the article was too long, and is more related to his article than to the Celebrity Big Brother UK article. I think it's up to the people editing his article to decide. -- AnemoneProjectors (talk) 22:21, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
I found the article interesting and relevant, as a footnote to the George Galloway page. I don't see why it's any less encyclopedic than any of thousands of other articles about television, especially since this informs a certain perspective on politics. Further, it's clear that it is principally factual, not a PoV rant. Why the "not encyclopedic" tag? --jholman
I agree with jholman. Leave it as a footnote. I came across an interview of George from Sky TV and wanted to know more about him. Shortcomings aside, the Galloway-Big Brother page was informative and brought into some relief issues relevant to discussions about politics, popular culture, and media. Notwithstanding editorial concerns other than relevance, please do not delete the article. - cbryan
- If we had an entry for every celebrity on a reality show, the server would be filled with garbage, which is not to say that it already has plenty of articles deemed useless by any reasonable standard. What is so "relevant" about this entry?
- He is not just another celebrity on a reality show, he's a "politician". Cliff17
- Agreed. It's relevant as part of his main article but had to be split off because it was too long. -- AnemoneProjectors (talk) 16:08, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
