The editors of this article seem to take an antagonistic approach toward George Carey, focusing on controversy, and doing so from an unsympathetic point of view, rather than on accomplishments. Unsigned edit by User:207.86.231.17 8 May 2006.

It would help if someone could add a section specifically highlighting his achievements, with sources. The difficulty is that sources appear to be richer and more accessible on other aspects. This seems to be due to a certain naivete in his handling of his high public profile, exemplified by the notorious profile Is he the worst Archbishop we have ever had? in 1999 - which concluded that he wasn't, but that he "without question the worst Archbishop imaginable for a media age".
