If anyone could find a death date for this man it would be most appreciated. According to the New York Times annual index, he was dead by May 13 of 1984. Katagelophobia 14 Nov 2003

According to the Parks Monument near Fairbanks, George Parks also was a civil engineer that worked for the territory's transportaton department. Apparently he was prominent in getting roads built in the state.
