Georgios Athanasiadis–Novas

Georgios Athanasiadis–Novas (Γεώργιος Αθανασιάδης-Νόβας) was bork in Naupactus in 1893. He obtained his law degree from the University of Athens. He was first elected to parliament in 1926 representing his prefecture of Aetolia-Acarnania and was repeatedly elected to office until 1964. He served as Minister of the Interior 1945, Minster of Education in 1950 and Minister of Industry in 1951.
He briefly served as prime minister of Greece from July 15, 1965 to August 20, 1965.
He died in 1986, aged 93.
