Georgina Kennard

Georgina, Lady Kennard is the mother of the Duchess of Westminster and the Duchess of Abercorn and a cousin of the 4th Marquess of Milford Haven.
She was born Georgina Wernher in Edinburgh, Scotland on 17 October 1919 to Sir Harold Augustus Wernher, 3rd Bt. and Anastasia de Torby. On 10 October 1944, she married Lt.-Col. Harold Phillips (1909–1980) and they had five children:
- Alexandra Anastasia Phillips (born 27 February 1946)
- Nicholas Harold Phillips (23 August 1947–1 March 1991)
- Fiona Mercedes Phillips (born 30 March 1951)
- Marita Georgina Phillips (born 28 May 1954)
- Natalia Ayesha Phillips (born 8 May 1959)
Harold died in 1980 and Georgina married Sir George Arnold Ford Kennard, 3rd Bt. (1915–1999) in 1992. As a descendant of the Duchess of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttell, Georgina and her children are in the line of succession to the British Throne (627th).
