Georgie Jones

Georgie Jones is a fictional character on the American television series General Hospital. The character is a resident of Port Charles. She is the daughter of supercouple Frisco and Felicia Jones. She is played by actress Lindze Letherman
Georgie was conceived when professional spy Frisco came back to town to visit Felicia and his first daughter Maxie, who was in need of a heart transplant. Felicia and Frisco were divorced, but they slept together in their relief that Maxie was going to live. Georgie was conceived. She was named Georgie after a relative of Felicia's named George. Older sister Maxie felt that her sister should have a boy's name like hers. Although some online sources list her full name as Georgiana, this is inaccurate. She has never been referred to as Georgiana on an episode of General Hospital, including the episodes right after her birth where the character of Felicia discussed how she chose Georgie's name. Felicia told friends and family her full name is just "Georgie." For a time Felicia wasn't sure whether Frisco or her fiance Mac Scorpio was Georgie's father. Paternity testing ultimately proved that Frisco was her biological father. Frisco saw Georgie once when she was a baby, but has never been involved in raising her. Georgie was kidnapped as a baby by evil serial killer Dr. Ryan Chamberlain, who had dated and stalked Felicia for a time. Ryan renamed Georgie "Celeste." Georgie was eventually recovered and Ryan ultimately met a fiery end. Felicia and Mac married a few years after Georgie's birth and Mac has been father in all but name to both Maxie and Georgie, even after his marriage to Felicia ended. The show has never made it clear whether Mac ever legally adopted the girls. However, when his marriage to Felicia ended, he fought for custody of the girls when it appeared Felicia was too busy going on adventures to take care of her daughters. Both Georgie and Maxie call and refer to Mac as their father. Georgie was viewed as the smart, sensible sister in her teenage years, in comparison with her flightier older sister. But Georgie has had a number of adventures with the teenagers in Port Charles. She recently married her long-time boyfriend, Dillon Quartermaine The couple decided they were too young to be married and later divorced, though they continued dating. Lulu Spencer lied to Dillon about Georgie's relationship with Diego Alcazar and slept with Dillon. Georgie was furious with Lulu, but was supportive of Lulu when she became pregnant by the encounter and had an abortion, even driving her home from the abortion clinic. Georgie recently started her first year of college at Port Charles University.
