State Route 247 is a north-south state route located in the central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. From the route's southern terminus at U.S. Route 341/State Route 11 northwest of Hawkinsville, the route runs north, concurrent with U.S. Route 129. South of Macon, the route becomes concurrent with U.S. Route 41/State Route 11/State Route 49. In Macon U.S. Route 41 and State Route 247 diverge from the other routes and continue north through the west portion of the city, before U.S. Route 41 departs to the northwest, leaving State Route 247 to meet its northern terminus at Interstate 75 a few miles further north.
