Georgia State Prison is the main maximum security prison in the state located in Hwy 147, Reidsville, Georgia 30453. It has all security (minimum to Maximum including hi-max) inmates. This prison houses the most dangerous inmates in the State of Georgia. It is commonly referred to by many corrections officers as the "lock 'em up and throw away the key" prison.
