The Georgia Power Building is in downtown Atlanta and is the headquarters of a division of the Southern Company.

The building was completed in 1981 and is 91 meters (299 feet) tall. During the construction period, 4,500 US tons (4,000 metric tons) of structural steel were used.

When opened, a solar field was on the roof however it was removed.

It's 24-floors are a passive solar design with each floor 15 or 18 inches (38 or 46 cm) wider than the one below.
