Georges Abi-Saab

Georges Michel Abi-Saab (born June 9, 1933) is an Egyptian international law specialist.

Georges Abi-Saab is Honorary Professor of International Law at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva (having taught there from 1963 to 2000), Honorary Professor at Cairo University’s Faculty of Law and a Member of the Institute of International Law.

Professor Abi-Saab is a former ad hoc Judge of the International Court of Justice, a former Judge of the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Court for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and Rwanda (ICTR) and currently Chairman of the Appellate Body of the World Trade Organization.
