George "Kid Sheik" Cola

George Colar was a jazz trumpeter often referred to as "Kid Sheik Cola." He is most associated with Dixieland jazz and worked with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

In youth he took informal lessons from Wooden Joe Nicholas and briefly had a band of his own. He worked with George Lewis in the mid-1940s and by the 1960s had a band of his own worth noting.
