George Washington's Army JROTC program is known as the 6th Battalion, currently run by LTC Randy Nielson (R).

The Denver Army JROTC's mottos are:

George Washington High School has been an International Baccalaureate World School since April, 1984. It offers the IB Diploma Programme and was the first IB school in Colorado.
