From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
George Tickner was a songwriter and co-guitarist with Neal Schon in Journey in the band's first few years. After the release of the band's debut album, he left Journey to attend medical school.
In the 1980's, Neal Schon was mostly the band's sole guitarist, with the exception of keyboardist Jonathan Cain occasionally playing rhythm guitar. In January 2005, he appeared with past and present members of the band to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
