George Stevens Academy

George Stevens Academy is an independent high school in Blue Hill, Maine, and has been open as a school since 1803. Students attending come from many of the surrounding communities, including Blue Hill, Orland, Sedgwick, Penobscot, Brooklin, Brooksville, and Ellsworth. There are currently about 320 students attending.
GSA has an open admissions policy, allowing nearly all interested to attend. Between 70 to 80% of GSA's graduating seniors attend college each year.
GSA is funded by tuition and private donations. Students tuition is set by the state, and paid by the sending towns.
