[edit] Name Confusion
A versatile and prolific author, Sheldon is on occasion confused with a George Sheldon, a former Florida Deputy Attorney General and Democratic Politician; George Sheldon, (1818-1916) an author from Deerfield, Massachusetts; and George Sheldon, (1870 - 1960), a former governor of Nebraska. A late 19th century author, Mrs. George Sheldon (sometimes also referred to as Georgie Sheldon) is also not connected to George Sheldon. Sheldon is not related to any of these other Sheldons, nor is he related to author and writer Sidney Sheldon.
