George R. Lunn

George R. Lunn was the Socialist mayor of Schenectady, New York from 1911 - 1913 and 1915 - 1916, when he joined the Democratic Party. A minister, Lunn later served as a Congressman and Lieutenant Governor of New York, under Governor Al Smith. Lunn owned the land upon which Lath maintained his famous ice house in the leading collateral agreement case, Mitchell v. Lath (Ct. of App. of N.Y, 247 N.Y. 377).
