George Mumford

George Mumford (unknown - 1818) was a Congressional Representative from North Carolina; born in Rowan County, North Carolina, birth date unknown; attended the common schools; member of the State house of commons, 1810 and 1811; elected as a Republican to the Fifteenth Congress (March 4, 1817-December 31, 1818); died on December 31, 1818, in Washington, D.C.; interment in the Congressional Cemetery.
