George Mulhall

George Mulhall was a footballer and manager. During his playing career he was involved in over 250 appearances for Sunderland as well as playing for Aberdeen, Cape Town City and Greenock Morton. He was also capped by Scotland. Since then he has managed Bradford City, Bolton Wanderers (where he was fired after one season amidst rumours that he was to be replaced by Pelé) and Halifax Town. He was manager at Halifax when they won the Conference National.
