George Moloney

George 'Specka' Moloney (born 7 August 1909; died 5 January 1983) was an Australian rules footballer in the West Australian Football League and the (then) Victorian Football League.

GeorgeMoloney was a highly successful goalkicker in the WAFL and VFL, as well as winning a Sandover Medal in 1936.

Moloney could play in the centre or up forward, but built most of his reputation through goalkicking. Playing for Claremont Football Club in the WAFL he won the Sandover Medal in 1936 as the league's fairest and best player.

In 1996 Moloney was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame and in 2004 he was inducted into the WA Football Hall of Fame
