George Kottaras (born May 10, 1983 in Scarborough, Ontario) is currently a prospect in the Boston Red Sox organization.
Kottaras played for Greece at the 2004 Summer Olympics. His eligibility derives from his parents. He was selected to the 2006 All-Star Futures Game.
On September 5, 2006, he was officially traded to the Boston Red Sox to complete a August 31 deal for David Wells. He is currently playing for the Double-A Portland Sea Dogs.
