George Horne Russell

George Horne Russell (18611933) was a Canadian painter.

Born in Scotland, he studied at the Alberdeen School of Art and the South Kensington Art School. In 1889, he moved to Canada settling in Montreal. [1] From 1922 to 1926, he was the president of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts. [2]
