George Dent

George Dent (1756–December 2, 1813) was an American planter and politician from Charles County, Maryland. He fought in the Revolutionary War and served in both houses of the Maryland legislature. He represented Maryland's 1st Congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 1793 until 1801.
