George Delacourt-Smith, Baron Delacourt-Smith

Charles George Percy Delacourt-Smith, Baron Delacourt-Smith known as George Delacourt-Smith PC, JP (25 April 1917 – 2 August 1972) was a British politician.
Delacourt-Smith was Member of Parliament (MP) for Colchester from 1945 to 1950, and Minister of State for Technology in 1969 and 1970. He was further a member of the Privy Council, having been appointed in 1969, and Justice of Peace.
On 13 October 1967, he was created a life peer as Baron Delacourt-Smith, of New Windsor in the Royal County of Berkshire.
He was married to Margaret Rosalind Delacourt-Smith.
