George Carlyle Marler, PC (September 14, 1901 - April 10, 1981) was a politician, notary and philatelist in Quebec, Canada.

He served as Liberal leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly of Quebec from 1948 to 1953, after Liberal leader Adélard Godbout lost the 1948 election, and also narrowly lost his own seat. Marler had earlier served as a federal MP and as a member of Montreal's city council.

Godbout resigned as Liberal leader on July 22, 1949, whereupon Marler became interim party leader, until Georges-Émile Lapalme became party leader on May 20, 1950. Lapalme resigned his seat in the House of Commons to enter provincial politics and was acclaimed Liberal leader. Lapalme failed to win his seat in the 1952 election, but won a by-election on July 9, 1953, at which point he became leader of the Opposition in place of Marler. Marler resigned from the legislature on June 30, 1954, and was appointed to the federal cabinet of Louis Saint-Laurent as minister of transport. Later that year he was elected to the Canadian House of Commons in the by-election of November 8, 1954.
