George Britton

George Britton was a first class cricketer who played one match for Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 1887. A right handed batsman he recorded a duck in his first innings against Cambridgeshire at Queens Road, Wisbech and scored 3 in the second innings. In a thrilling finish Yorkshire won the match by one wicket.

Born on February 7, 1843 in Hunslet he died, aged 66, on January 3, 1910 in Leeds.
