George Baylor (January 12, 1752, Newmarket, Caroline County, Virginia - March 1784, Bridgetown, Barbados) was a soldier in the Continental Army, serving throughout the American Revolution.

He was first aide-de-camp to George Washington, and brought the news of the Battle of Trenton to Congress. He was later appointed to lead the 3rd Regiment of Continental Light Dragoons. While commanding the dragoons in 1778, his forces were surprised and defeated in what came to be known as the Baylor Massacre. He received a bayonet wound during the attack and was captured, but was later able to rejoin the Continental forces.
