George Alan, born February 27, 1972 in Detroit, Michigan, is an American actor of Macedonian descent. Alan has appeared in several television shows, including Criminal Minds, Entourage, 24, Charmed, Friends, Ally McBeal and the pilot episode of Lost; Alan had a recurring role on the show Girlfriends as the bartender at The Blue Bar.

George Alan was born in Detroit, Michigan, the son of a home improvement contractor. He immediately gravitated to performing in school plays and local commercials. Along with his older sister, he was thrust into the family business while still attending high school.
Elite Model Management's Karen Lee took immediate notice of him when at a local mall, and directed him to a local scouting event that they where having in Dearborn, Michigan. Under the guidance of some top model industry professionals Alan soon found himself working in the major markets of New York, Miami, Chicago, Greece, Milano and cities throughout Asia. George enjoyed his success in the whirlwind life of the modeling world. Alas, with his Midwest sensibilities in tact and the knowledge that acting was his calling, he returned to Michigan to prepare for the inevitable journey to California. During the stop over, he became a spokesperson for the Auto Shows traveling from state to state. Along with this highly visible position came confidence. With the support and friendship of his good friend and talent manager Cynthia Cooper, he made his way to Los Angeles.
It was exciting to explore the new city and also uncover some of his hidden talents. West Coast photographers and ad agencies began to hire George instantly - a great way of supporting himself as he perused his dream. His own photography prowess remained a hobby until local agencies noticed his work. Elite, Wilhelmina and others tapped him to shoot their clients. This became another lucrative venture but still was not one that would feed his hunger for acting.
A buddy of George's, Jason Lasater was dating actress, Troy Beyer, she introduced George to her acting coach, John Kirby, and paid for his very first acting classes in LA. In this class, he flourished and his abilities became stronger. Everyone noticed these improvements, which George attributes to Troy Beyer, invitation. As return payment for the classes she requests only that, "buy me a drink when you make it!"
Ally McBeal, a smash for the FOX Network, became the first on-camera job on his resume. This was followed by coveted roles in Friends, Charmed, The Division, Entourage, 24, Lost, Criminal Minds and many other long running series topping out with a recurring character on UPN hit Girlfriends.
His film credits include Richard Day's indi-favorite, Straight-Jacket (2004) and the soon to be released Naked Run.
He still has not bought Troy Beyer That drink.
