Sir Geoffrey Allen Percival Scoones, KCB, KBE, CSI, DSO, MC, (1893 - 1975) was a general in the British Army during the Second World War .
During WWII Scoones commanded the Indian 19th Infantry Division as a major-general before being promoted to lieutenant-general in command of the Indian IV Corps in General Slim's Fourteenth Army.
He commanded the Corps through the gruelling Battle of Imphal. He was subsequently appointed to Central Command in India, an Army-level HQ which was nevertheless essentially a rear-area and administrative command.
