Geoffrey Owens (March 18, 1961, New York City) is an African American actor.
Son of United States Congressman Major Owens. He is perhaps most remembered for his role as Elvin Tibideaux, husband of Sondra Huxtable on the final five seasons of NBC's sitcom, The Cosby Show. He played this role from 1985 until 1992.
He taught classes in Shakespeare at HB studios in New York City.
His latest role was as Eddie's father on That's So Raven in the episode The Way They Were.
