Geoffrey Girard

Geoffrey Girard is an award-winning fiction author whose works have appeared in several best-selling anthologies and magazines including Apex Digest and Writers of the Future. His books include Tales of the Jersey Devil (2005), thirteen original tales based on the legendary Jersey Devil monster, Tales of the Atlantic Pirates (2006), Tales of the Eastern Indians (2007) and an adaptation of The Iliad (2007).
Girard was a Writers of the Future winner in 2002.
Girard graduated from Washington College with a literature degree and teaches high school English and Creative Writing. He presents seminars on creative writing at colleges, bookstores and writers' organizations and can also be spotted speaking at various fantasy/horror conventions. Born in Germany, shaped in New Jersey and currently living in Ohio, Girard is also a musician having released an album of piano songs he composed and recorded.
Girard is currently a faculty member at Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati, OH.
