GeoSciML
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
GeoSciML or Geoscience Markup Language is a GML Application Schema that can store information about rock types, fossils, strike and dip and other measurements. It was created in an effort to make a universal geological markup language. It will be used in the OneGeology project, an effort to create a geological map of the entire Earth.
