I have just begun to attempt to clean this up, and have made a start at merging various articles.It is very firmly based on EB 11 and thus badly out of date and in need of a wholesale rewrite. Added the template. I am adding more of the orginal articles and will condense the finished result. More text is needed about post-1911 scholarship and also suitable pix of artefacts etc. Apwoolrich 12:37, 7 May 2005 (UTC)

Good luck to you in rewriting. Please note that there is a lot of overlap and duplication among this article, Aegean civilization and History of discovery and distribution of the remains of Aegean civilization.
