Dear All,
This is a Complaint which I want to make for our Local Post Office ... Andheri(East), old Nagardas Road, mumbai -400069.
My Introduction:- I am Jignesh Narendra Shah, Working with Accenture Services pvt. Ltd . I am A Service Delivery Manager (Team Lead)in our Internal IT team.. Its an MNC company.
Complaint :-
On 1st October 2005 , I visited our local Post Office Andheri(East), old Nagardas Road, mumbai -400069 for updating My Wifes & Sisters Passbook (Savings A/C no. 4051659 & 4051658). For updating the same I reached the Post Office sharply at 10.00 A.M & I stood in the same Queue for 2 Hours Precisely , there were only 9 Members ahead of me in the same Queue. When my turn came , my passbooks were taken & thrown to a Signature Authorities desk & I was told to stand besides the Queue for some time. After waiting there for 30 mins. I tried to contact the same Clerk if my passbook was updated, he looked at the same passbook & didnt give any response. after waiting for another 10 more mins. I went inside the counter to take the status of the same. I asked very politely wether i will be getting the updated passbook today or shall I come on Monday (3rd October 05) , the same clerk replied back that they cannot assure me on the date & time hence I told them to give me a receipt of the same so that I can follow up for the same & I again asked for the date & time ... the same clearks started yelling at me asking me to get out of the post office... I refuesed to go out, hence there were 4 more clerks who got up & started yelling & started giving bad words. After hearing the same I too sterted giving bad words at them... all 4 of them started streching & hitting me in the same Post office ... I finally was told by a lady clerk to remain cool & she will be giving me the receipt on the same.
The same clerks started yelling loudly at me that "u will have to pay a big price for the same". This was looking like a strong alert " Dhamki" to me that something will be going wrong with me or my passbooks. I didnt respond back for the same.
Finally the same lady clerk gave me a receipt for the same & asked me to contact her for the passbooks on tuesday. I quietly went out form the same Post office.
I would like to inform you that this is the type of service a customer gets in the post office. The clerks & head clerks have no manners to interact with customers. they act like DON's in post office itself...
I have not yet made any police complaints yet. I would like you to take this complaint forward for an enquiry....My address & contact details are as given below...
