I removed the sentence that said Veers was Admiral Ozzel's sidekick. An Imperial Army general isn't a "sidekick" to an Imperial Navy admiral. They are the same rank and in different branches. Maybe what was meant was something like "counterpart", but either way it's not necessary; Veers outlived Ozzel by a long time, and there's no reason to lump them together in the introductory paragraph. The style in which this page is written is absurd. It reads like some sort of early 19th century ode to a French military hero. Needs to be edited a lot. Oldkinderhook 19:35, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
