IndyMedia Paris has a prominently displayed link to the GFDL (see at bottom), and besides, a text saying, in French:

Which means:

"The documents on the site [...] and, without contrary indication: are the property of their author, may be freely copied and broadcast by anybody, and not broadcast for commercial purposes."

Since it is quite unclear what they meant by it, I concluded the content could be used under GFDL.
