Genesis 1976 - 1982 is a box set by British band Genesis. Release date is on April 2, 2007 in most of the world on EMI, and will be released on May 1, 2007 in North America and Canada on Rhino Records in conjunction with the band's US label Atlantic Records.
According to Billboard.com, Genesis : 1976 - 1982 will be a 6-CD/6-DVD boxed set, which will feature newly remixed CD versions of the albums A Trick of the Tail, Wind & Wuthering, And Then There Were Three, Duke and Abacab. All of the albums will be re-released as Hybrid SACDs for the rest of the world while they will be regular CDs for Canada and North America. Each album will also include a DVD that features 5.1 audio mixes in both Dolby Digital and DTS, videos for songs from that album or tour, new interviews and photo galleries.
The sixth CD will include B-sides and rarities like the surprise hit "Paperlate" from the 1982 EP "3X3", as well as a DVD of 5.1 mixes, videos and interviews.
