[edit] Team Members

Simca
Simca
Simca (シムカ Shimuka?)
Also known as "Simca of the Swallow", or the "Migratory Bird". Her intent is to gather all the Kings, and their Regalia, for the purpose of conquering the Trophaeum tower, and acquiring the Sky Regalia. She's taken great interest in Ikki, whom she believes is destined to one day become the legendary Sky King, and who has practically idolized her since watching her ride AT through his neighborhood.

Despite protests, she convinces Ikki to take Genesis under his leadership after Kogarasumaru's triumph over Behemoth, and her interactions with Ikki eventually draws the ire of the new Sleeping Forest team, led by Ringo. It is later revealed that Simca, under Makigami Ine's wing, was one of the founding members of Tool Toul To when the original Sleeping Forest was still around; and apparently held an exceptional amount of talent as a Tuner. She witnessed the aftermath of Takeuchi Sora, the original Wind King and candidate for the Sky King title, being betrayed by Kilik, the former Gem King, and her twin brother.

In the beginning of the series, Simca was the central sex-bomb character as she was frequently nude or in revealing outfits throughout the early chapters. Her central outfit was a girl's sailor school uniform, shin high ATs and a police cap with flight goggles. During Ikki's take over of Genesis she becomes heavily depressed over Ikki still labeling her as an enemy. She then had Spitfire chop most of her hair off during a salon visit. Her new haircut makes her look just like her twin brother Kilik. She also gets a style change with the new hair cut, donning long thigh high leather AT's that resemble dominatrix boots more than AT's. She doesn't wear her trademark goggle cap anymore but instead is always wearing a long black leather tie around her neck. Her style changes mostly to a goth look even so far as wearing a gothic lolita outfit to visit Ikki. It's after this visit that she's attacked by Sleeping Forest in reprisal for Genesis kidnapping Gabishi. She is currently bound to a wheelchair due to injuries sustained from Om's "Bubblegum Crisis" attack.

Although her interest in Ikki may seem strictly for her own gain she has shown some sincere compassion for him. While in the hospital she woke up in the middle of the night to see Ikki sleeping in a chair next to her bedside. She then crawled out of bed and across the floor just to sleep next to him. This scene just adds to mystery of Simca's true motives.

Spitfire (スピット・ファイア Supitto Faia?)
  • Voiced by: Kenjiro Tsuda (Japanese), Jay Hickman (English)
He is the Flame King, and one of the last two members of the original Sleeping Forest still holding their titles. He is in control of three teams with 41, 68, and 86 members, and is a highly sought hair stylist in everyday life. His speed creates the illusion of flames due to the heat caused by the friction of his wheels on the ground. He has recently thought about renouncing his title as Flame King, and intends to pass on the Flame Regalia to Kazu.

When Spitfire first appeared, it was assumed he was gay due to his flamboyant style and his occupation as a hair stylist. Although during a visit with Tool Toul To leader Makigami Ine, he displayed behavior that they both had some history together. In addition despite his pretty boy looks he is a very well rounded fighter and it currently in battle with Nike. During this battle he is nearly killed but is saved by longtime friend Aeon Clock. The two used to be allies going after the Flame Road. But after Spitfire obtained it, they went their seperate ways. It was assumed Aeon was very bitter about this and still wanted the Flame regalia according to Makigami Ine's comments to Spitfire. However Aeon still proves to be a loyal friend to Spitfire as the two have teamed up against Nike.

Nue (?)
The Thunder King, and head of the team "Black Crow", which is made up of twenty children. Nue's Regalia is unique in that it's the only full body Regalia of the AT world. Apart from his neck and head, his whole body is incased in the Regalia. Nue specializes in manipulating electricity and magnetism, allowing him to create hallucinations and/or powerful electric attacks with his wire system built into the Thunder Regalia. The Thunder Regalia was heavily damaged in an earlier battle with Gabishi but thanks to a rather quick re-tuning, Nue was able to arrive in time to save Kazu and co. from Gabishi.

Yasuyoshi Sano (左 安良 Sano Yasuyoshi?)
Known as 'Aeon Clock', through his incredible speed, intelligence, and techniques gained through his time following Flame Road, he makes use of tricks that give the impression of him manipulating time. With this amount of skill he is able to fight on level with Kings. Upon the disbanding of Behemoth, Sano was recruited into Genesis by Simca. He serves as Simca's advisor, counselor, and occasional chauffeur. His primary role in Genesis is the protection of Ikki and his team, Kogarasumaru.

During recent chapters it is generally assumed he is gay or he is just completly ignorant in the world of girls. In one of the recent scenes he actually grops Mikan's breast while she's sleeping. He mutters to himself about how he doesn't understand women at all. This coupled with his flamboyant mannerisms can lead to the assumption he may be gay.

However his combat skills are one of the highest in the series since he was able to hold his own against Gabishi of Sleeping Forest. Although he eventually loses that match he still is strong to save Spitfire from Nike and launch a fierce counter attack, stunning Nike. He also uses ball type AT that resemble ordinary dress shoes with spheres on the bottom. It is mentioned several times in the series that ball type are significantly harder to use than regular wheel type AT. That alone stands for how much talent Aeon has the world of AT.

Yoshitsune (ヨシツネ?)
A brilliant strategist and occasional pervert, Yoshitsune holds the title of Rumble King, and is the leader of the Kansai Storm Rider syndicate "Trident". He challenged Ikki with the "Devil's Thirty Thirty", a stunt that normally involves jumping over the bodies of thirty-three of one's teammates; in Ikki's case, he has to leap over Ringo who was lying at the end of the track. The power of his Regalia is demonstrated during Ikki's first jump when Agito attempted to assist his team leader by accelerating Ikki with a "fang." Yoshitsune's Ram Jet Theory based Regalia intercepted and completely desolved the fang. Ultimately, Ikki successfully tackled the challenge, and Trident agreed to collaborate with Genesis. Yoshitsune now serves Simca and Genesis as an enforcer and tactician. After Sleeping Forest's Gabishi was captured, while trying to harm Kazu, Yoshitsune was in charge of his interrogation. Yoshitune still has yet to actually be seen in a full on battle, so his battle abilities are still unknown.

Benkei (ベンケイ?)
Despite the masculinity of her name, Benkei is Yoshitsune's beautiful and skilled second-in-command. After the merge with Genesis, Benkei became the Kogarasumaru's trainer (and unofficial team member) during Ikki's hospitalization period. She proves her fighting ability and intelligence when she defeats Om, the Water King of Sleeping Forest. In addition she won the battle with one AT completly destroyed. Her AT's are similar to high heels with small wheels on the bottom. Her preferred weapon of choice is the Panther's Corsa (豹頭の錫杖) which is a staff containing AT wheels on each end. She also rides around on a custom chopper which holds Yoshitune's regalia in the gas tank. Her Panther's Corsa is also stored underneath the exhuast pipes.

Nike (ニケ?)
The current Gem King, and the most powerful of Genesis' four Kings. He lives in America, and leads two teams comprised of 74, and 18 members. It has been recently revealed that "Nike" is just an alias, and that he is the identical twin brother of Takeuchi Sora, whom he also shares his name with(the difference being the Kanji for their first names, where Sora's would translate to "Sky", while Nike's would be "Space"). He stole the Wind Regalia core, recently rebuilt by Sumeragi Kururu for Ikki, and kidnapped Hako along with it. He appears to be mentally unstable, and has a deep hatred for the one who took everything away from his brother, the former Gem King, Kilik. He is currently battling the combined team of Spitfire and Aeon clock.
